In doing so we will not only encourage South Africans to get back in touch with nature, but we will also alleviate the rapidly approaching food shortage, remedy the shocking nutritional imbalance in our existing food, improve social awareness, health levels, etc.

An incident that I encountered just recently made me realise how lucky and grateful I am to have such a wonderful and loyal customer base.

What follows is not meant to be depressing but rather to illustrate what I mean when I say that we are very grateful to all our loyal clients.

TOPS has been in existence for 18 years and many customers have stood by and supported us for almost the same period.  This even when personal problems have crept into our daily lives and we’ve not been able to focus entirely on these people.

I lost my Dad after a long illness, and during this time I could not give TOPS my undivided attention. My daughter subsequently lost a baby 7 months into her pregnancy through abnormal genetic problems. Once again an incident devastating to my family forced me to direct my energy in an area other than my work. Last year we had a cancer scare in the family forcing me to cancel an invitation, at the last minute, to a very important customer event. During all this Natalie lost her sister to cancer and once again our focus was diverted away from TOPS.

Being a small company what affects one affects all. This sometimes impacts on the business and our focus is not 100% on our daily work and customer service.

Through it all however we have been blessed with clients who have been patient and understanding and never threatened to take their work elsewhere. For this we are eternally grateful. Remember, when you have problems in your life, we at TOPS will be there to support you as well.
