TOPS has started the year with a bang after a glorious festive season with our families – we trust that you are also eager to embrace the Year of the Dog with vim and vigour, and that your 2006 will contain as much good fortune as you can handle.

Although we are crying in sympathy with Bafana Bafana in their current bad form, we will continue supporting them – they need our support, and we are with them through thick and thin. However, all is not lost – the CATS will surely restore our national pride during the Super 14 – we wait with bated breath and pounding hearts!

We know that you are looking forward to Minister Trevor Manuel’s budget speech with as much anticipation as we are; we are sure that he is not going to allow all the bad news on the sporting horizon to cloud his judgement when he (hopefully) alleviates future tax burdens. Whatever he reveals, we know you will make use of the current economic boom and utilise TOPS for some really cool printing projects.

Unlike the (young and inexperienced) Proteas cricket team, the TOPS team has spent many years honing its expertise. We are proud to say that we LISTEN to our Customers; we give you what you WANT; we understand what you NEED, and we look forward to continuing with our trademark ‘WOW’ Customer Service during 2006.

Busi Mokoena, who has been an important part of our team for the past 10 years (as many of you would know), has just successfully completed a one-day Refreshment Provider Workshop.

WELL-DONE BUSI!!!!

The workshop covered a vast number of subjects, Motivation, Refreshment service to colleagues and clients, Addressing of customers and colleagues, Effective communication and body language skills, Understanding cultural differences, Basic telephone skills to name a few.

VETTA is a registered provider of training and education and is recognised by SETA.

We hope this is the first of many courses in our endeavor to meet the Government BEE requirements.
